Client & Parent Company: Swift Anchors™ — a specialized subsea anchoring technology division of Schottel (a global leader in marine propulsion and engineering systems).
The Core Innovation
Swift Anchors develops proprietary Groutless Self-Drilling Rock Anchors. One of the biggest benefits is that these anchors have the fastest installation time in the business. This is referenced in the name, as the Swift is one of the fastest birds in the world. These specialized subsea systems directly anchor into seabed rock formations without cement grout, unlocking previously unviable offshore energy sites featuring high-current tidal streams or hard-rock seabed conditions.
The Visual Challenge
The mark needed to signify speed, anchors, structural rock penetration, and marine engineering excellence while remaining cohesive with Schottel’s overarching industrial branding standards.
Symbol & Geometry
The symbol/logo design combines a swift (bird) and an anchor. The icon combines the downward force and mechanical precision of self-drilling technology with the anchor's stabilizing function in marine environments. Geometric symmetry emphasizes industrial reliability, structural strength, and dynamic fluid motion.
Typography
Bold, clean sans-serif typography set in all-caps or structured title case to project authority, corporate stability, and global engineering capability. The weight ensures strong legibility when rendered small on subsea technical schematics or enlarged on trade show displays.
Color Palette
Professional marine navy blues, cyan, and crisp high-contrast accents. The palette ties directly to industrial subsea operations while communicating technical rigor and reliability to offshore developers and marine energy investors.
