Melon used the Trans Flag colours and applied them to portraits of Transgender people. The coastline illustrates the clinic name while the waves represent transition and gender fluidity.

WITH A NOVA SCOTIA HEALTH CARD
Common feminizing treatments include estrogen and anti-androgens such as spironolactone or cyproterone. Testosterone is the primary medication used for masculinizing changes. Other medications such as progesterone and finasteride may also be used. The first appointment is done with one of our clinic's nurses.
We teach our patients how to safely self-administer hormones like estrogen or testosterone. Training covers proper technique, dosage calculations, selecting injection sites, and managing side effects or complications.
Referrals for gender affirming surgeries including counselling about the surgeries themselves. This includes a discussion of the details of surgeries, risks, and benefits. As part of the surgical referral process, our clinic also offers pre-operative psycho-social assessments (previously known as ‘letters of readiness’)
Please try to let us know at least 24 hours ahead of time if you need to cancel or change your appointment. If you miss your appointment without giving us enough notice, you may be charged a $50 no-show fee.
